Único discípulo de Jerónimo Peña Fernández (uno de los más grandes luthiers de la história),José Ruiz Pedregosa nacido en 1958 se instala como un luthier
desde 1981. Construye muy pocas guitarras por año, pero todas son verdaderas obras maestras, todas hechas con los viejos métodos de conocimiento recibidos de su maestro.
Estas guitarras se caracterizan por su riqueza y redondez de sonido.
Su lista de espera en el luthier es +/- 2 años
