Gibson Vegas guitar. Year 2006
Its body is somewhat larger than that of a Les Paul and has certain similarities with some solid Fender-type guitars, such as the recess in the rear of the body. It is a very comfortable and balanced guitar.
The bridge is the usual in Gibson, Tune-o-matic and the Stopbar type tailpiece. The shape of the two usual F-holes in the body and the lateral position of the headstock, which gives it a certain Fender air, recover part of the appearance of a classic Gibson, the Trini Lopez model.
According to Gibson’s advertising, this guitar is Gibson’s first semi-solid flat top with humbuckers. By flat top we mean a flat top guitar. In this case it is maple.
The body and neck are mahogany and an ebony fingerboard.
Electronics and controls. It is provided with pills. It has -this is a novelty- a single volume control and a tone control. The humbuckers are the usual ones on the ES-335, that is, the ‘57 Classics in neck and bridge.
The finishes are the usual Gibson
