Vicente Carrillo was born in Casasimarro (Cuenca) in 1963. And he is the 4th generation of a guitar makers saga that started more than 2 centuries ago.
After the death of his father (Vicente Carrillo Cantos) his son Vicente carrillo Casas took over the workshop.
In 1984 Vicente made a great friendship with the builder Angel Benito Aguado with whom he shared and received advice.
In 2003 he collaborates with the maestro Paco de Lucia in the recording of his album “Cositas Buenas”, contributing one of his guitars.
Since 2006 there is a flamenco guitar model signed by Paco de Lucia. Currently and since the death of Ramon de Algeciras (brother of Paco de Lucia) new models are distributed in collaboration with Tomatito.
His guitars are used by professionals such as Paco de Lucia, Juan Manuel Cañizares, Niño Josele … among others.
